For the last 10 yrs plus I've wanted a chimaera & finally decided to take
the leap as a second car. Just love the looks, the sound, the "basic"
style, etc. I'm looking for a late 90's model with <50k on the clock.

Where I need help is what to look out for in a vehicle of this age and
mileage. What are the common got-you's. Does the cam belt go at 60k -
should I look for a 4.5 rather than a 4.0. Does the left had oogle-grinder
fall off after 5 years, you know the sort of thing.

Many thanks for any assistance you can offer.

In my experience one thing to look for is any sign of water leaking
inside the car. The one I had a few years ago leaked like a sieve.
